Stahl-Meyer hot Dogs
Boone Avenue’s graffiti walls center on the Ferris Stahl Meyer hot dog plant, where for years, owner Guillermo Martinez encouraged the local artists to use the building as their rotating canvas. The hot dog plant fronted on the Eastern side of Boone Avenue at 173rd street wrapping down 173rd street to West Farms Road where its back entrance was located. The Eastern wall was Boone Avenue's main curated canvas, with the other facades around it used as 'practice walls' for the various artists.
The Ferris Stahl Meyer plant was demolished in November 2014.
